| Synopsis : | The first film event of its kind in Malaysia, the EcoKnights Eco Film Fest (EFF) adopts the themes encompassed in The United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) which expresses the concern and need to protect interests of the public, the environment and wildlife. Through an annual film contest, workshops and screenings, EFF aims to create an annual showcase of outstanding films and documentaries focusing on environmental issues that affect ordinary people like human health and air/water pollution, natural disasters, environmental policies and education, energy for sustainable development, human and animal displacement, forests, biodiversity, and sustainable energy. With a video camera in hand, almost any person on the street, and even entire communities, can share their story in the way they want to tell it. You Could Be Part of It. ~ Competition Guidelines: Thematic Focus: World’s Sustainable Development and Environment Issues Subject (2008): “Climate Change - A Call for Action” Video Format: Documentary / Narration / Animation/Short Film.
