| Synopsis : | The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, together with conductor Claus Peter Flor perform Smetana's Má Vlást ("My Country"), one of the most famous pieces by this Czech composer. Also said to be one of the most famous expressions of national sentiment ever conceived in purely orchestral terms, this six-movement tone poem depicts the sights and sounds of Bohemia, from a Prague castle to woods and forests, by way of a matchless musical river. |
