| Synopsis : | In his last solo, Taquddin Bahro dwelt on the subject of Malay marriage. This latest series of works by Quddin now features digital drawings on canvas, and see's him getting personal with his past. Sweet, innocent memories of his childhood from when he was around 10 years old are reflected in his works - TV shows, traditional Malay games, his grandmother's sewing machine, the sweet smell of his grandfather's cigarettes, toys bought by his dad after each out-of-town business trip - experiences the artist believes some or most of us can also relate to. |
